THE PROGRAMME

The tournament programme is set over five days playing five championship courses – Mount, Omanu, Omokoroa, Tauranga and Te Puke. The Mount course is ranked in NZ’s Top 40
courses and along with Te Puke, Tauranga, Omokoroa and Omanu, the clubs have regularly hosted national events. Te Puke hosted the NZ PGA in 2021. Tauranga and Mount annually host events on The NZ Charles Tour. Omanu has been a popular host venue for the Golf NZ Men’s & Women’s Mid Am and Omokoroa has hosted the Golf NZ Women’s Autumn Foursomes and numerous national veterans tournaments. The competition format is Stableford over five rounds. Under the World Handicap System, handicaps will be changed daily.
Prizes are awarded daily, with overall prizes by gender and multiple handicap divisions at the end of the week. The field is limited to the first 400 entries received. Players are drawn into four equal groups and play a different course over the five days. You can nominate your playing rotation on entry by letting PaR nz know (on your registration form) the
names of your travelling friends; we will do our best to arrange for you to play on the same courses. All participants enjoy a fantastic week of golf and social activities and the best weather that the Bay of Plenty can offer.

ELIGIBILITY
